Valentine's Weekend at Wonderland

February is a fun month ... it's Valentine's! ... I love hearts + pink!

Ming Ong's opening art event is this evening in conjunction with 2nd Saturdays NELAart Gallery Night.

Sunday: February 12th, 2012 (12-3pm)

We're having our 2nd Annual Valentine's Card Making Workshop, featuring our february pop-up corner artist, Ming Ong! Have fun & get creative making collaged cards using Ming Ong's art.

Ming Ong is an artist and graphic designer, based in Los Angeles, California. Her artwork reflects her international upbringing and inclusive worldview. Her paintings often depict children and animals in disquieting situations, juxtaposing bright colors and nostalgic children’s book illustration with dark subject matter and serious themes. A.BAMBER Pop Up Art Corner

A. BAMBER will be showcased in our January Pop-Up Corner. Check out her cute character designs in art + product!

Adrianna Bamber is an Ukrainian-American fine artist, illustrator and designer. She has two fancy art degrees but has been creating, drawing and painting characters long before her student loans existed. The tiny studio where she makes all her art is located in the bicycle friendly Mission District of San Francisco.
