Happy Wonderland Event

On Nov. 24, 2012 it was Year 2 of the We Heart Eagle Rock Blvd Block Party.

The sun was shining and lots of locals were walking the blocks of Eagle Rock and having a blast!

Digesting their Thanksgiving dinner, only to fill their tummies with several sweets 

offered in each small shop while they shopped small shops for their holiday gifts.

Leanna Lin's Wonderland had our Happy Wonderland accessories designer trunk shows with

Anew + Kawaii Kitsch by A's Fashion Files

JAM Vegan Bakery was also their with their delicious sweet treats and taking a holiday pre-orders.

Holiday Gift Wrapping and Friends & Family shopping event!

My Last Art Opening of 2012!

It's been a whirlwind of events in November .... while kicking off the holiday season,
along with the last art shows for 2012!

We started  off at Designer Con on Nov. 3rd, where the Artist Sisters: CJ Metzger & Miss Mindy
came with me to do exclusive signings in my booth + we promoted their 3rd Annual Show at 
Leanna Lin's Wonderland, which opened the following week.
It was fun meeting the D-Con peeps + friends/fans of the Artist Sisters!

 On Nov. 10th we had our last NELAart opening event for 2012 :)
This year flew by and I can't believe that this is my 3rd Year with the lovely & local Artist Sisters.
The main gallery wall adorns beautiful original art, framed embellished prints, hand painted ornaments
and a good selection of amazing products 
(prints, gift tags, card sets, jewelry, books, limited edition works + more).
The Artist Sisters and I then were happy to be a part of our local 20th Annual Arroyo Discover Tour!

 Our Art Corner is filled with cute & creepy works of another local artist, Allison Revilla!
She's been in a several group shows at Wonderland and this is 
Allison's first solo show at Wonderland :)
Her bright, bubblegum colors adorn the corner, along with fun prints, buttons, tees + totes!

Small Business Saturday

On Saturday, Nov. 26th, 2011, Eagle Rock celebrated our 1st Small Business Saturday shopping event! All the shopping boutiques on Eagle Rock Blvd. participated and we also had a few extra perks (like a lounge area hosted by Wildwood Ovens) and Pie 'N Burger truck parked on the block! At Leanna Lin's Wonderland, I wanted to host a trunk show featuring 2 designers that have supported me since the beginning, Spicy Brown + Tookata People. We also gave had special goodies for our customers: JAM Vegan Bakery cookies + gifts with purchases (my logo Baggu bag was one of them)! It was a successful event and we're excited to do it next year and even expand it! Check out the follow up article on our local Patch.

Wednesday, 11/23 (12-3pm): JAM Vegan Bakery will be at my shop again for a Giving Thanks Pop-Up! (see below for more details)

Thursday, 11/24: Closed for Thanksgiving. Enjoy time with loved ones and fill yourself with yummy food.

Friday, 11/25: BLACK FRIDAY SALE!!! Everything in the shop will be 20% off

On November 26th (12-9pm), the shops on Eagle Rock Blvd. present their 1st Holiday EAGLE ROCK BLVD. BLOCK PARTY in conjunction with Small Business Saturday. The 2nd annual Small Business Saturday is a day dedicated to supporting small businesses on one of the busiest shopping weekends of the year. SHOP SMALL and make a huge impact on the economy!

Join the small shops on Eagle Rock Blvd. (between Colorado Blvd. & Fair Park Ave.) and start your holiday shopping while having fun! Each shop will be hosting their own festivities with drinks, treats, discounts, raffles, gifts with purchases, designer trunk shows, free nail wrap, live music performances, pajama story hour lounge area and more!
