* GENEVIEVE SANTOS *
Genevieve Santos is a kid-at-heart and nomadic addict whose whimsical illustrations 

inspire nostalgia and capture the imaginary. Driven by a goal to visit 30 countries by age 30, 

she's taken her sketchbook everywhere to document and discover adventures,

and eat a lot of ice cream. 

Genevieve will be live drawing her "Clink" characters, elephants, and whatever she dreams up,

as well as selling her line of art prints, stationery, limited edition jewelry, rubber stamps, 

stickers and more.

She's visited 27 countries & turns 30 in July 2014. It's gonna happen.


* QUIET TIGER *
Quiet Tiger is a little handmade shop by designer Nellie Le. Started in January 2006, 

the shop was born out of her love for knitting and working with her hands. 

She loves color & pattern which can be seen throughout all her handmade goods. 

She will be selling colorful hand-knitted accessories & paper goods.


* SUPAHCUTE *
Supahcute.com is a blog inspired by cute culture and the cute aesthetic. Since 2008, 

Supahcute.com has become a resource for the cutest in art, toys, and handmade products. 

Founder/Curator of Cute Hana Kim will bring accessories featuring an original design by 

kawaii artist Jerrod Maruyama. Also available will be prints by Jerrod Maruyama, 

original artwork and prints by Jared Andrew Schorr, and more!

Small Business Saturday

On Saturday, Nov. 26th, 2011, Eagle Rock celebrated our 1st Small Business Saturday shopping event! All the shopping boutiques on Eagle Rock Blvd. participated and we also had a few extra perks (like a lounge area hosted by Wildwood Ovens) and Pie 'N Burger truck parked on the block! At Leanna Lin's Wonderland, I wanted to host a trunk show featuring 2 designers that have supported me since the beginning, Spicy Brown + Tookata People. We also gave had special goodies for our customers: JAM Vegan Bakery cookies + gifts with purchases (my logo Baggu bag was one of them)! It was a successful event and we're excited to do it next year and even expand it! Check out the follow up article on our local Patch.

A Wonderland Thanksgiving Week

We have a lot in store for you this Thanksgiving week! Below is the breakdown :)

Wednesday, 11/23 (12-3pm): JAM Vegan Bakery will be at my shop again for a Giving Thanks Pop-Up! (see below for more details)

Thursday, 11/24: Closed for Thanksgiving. Enjoy time with loved ones and fill yourself with yummy food.

Friday, 11/25: BLACK FRIDAY SALE!!! Everything in the shop will be 20% off

On November 26th (12-9pm), the shops on Eagle Rock Blvd. present their 1st Holiday EAGLE ROCK BLVD. BLOCK PARTY in conjunction with Small Business Saturday. The 2nd annual Small Business Saturday is a day dedicated to supporting small businesses on one of the busiest shopping weekends of the year. SHOP SMALL and make a huge impact on the economy!

Join the small shops on Eagle Rock Blvd. (between Colorado Blvd. & Fair Park Ave.) and start your holiday shopping while having fun! Each shop will be hosting their own festivities with drinks, treats, discounts, raffles, gifts with purchases, designer trunk shows, free nail wrap, live music performances, pajama story hour lounge area and more!

PARTICIPATING SHOPS: Owl Talk, Green Bean, Kumquat, Media Noche, Double O Salon, The Snivling Sibbling, Leanna Lin's Wonderland, Letters From LA, Wildwood, Lady, Read Books and Toros Pottery. Check out our event page to see more on what each shop is offering!

I love Eagle Rock! This small town community is a (almost) hidden treasure in Northeast Los Angeles (NELA). I'm proud to say that I live here, own a shop/gallery (Leanna Lin's Wonderland) + support locally (from restaurants/bars, boutiques, salons & coffee shops). Small business are what make this city unique & interesting *-*

So when local resident + customer, Sheryl of Two Plums Paper, asked me to be a part of the 90041 Handmade local event I was excited to be a part of the community! This is a family friendly event and I had the most fun seeing the creations made by the kids. There were also handmade jewelry + clothing designers, a tarot card reader, kiss the frenchie fund raiser, homemade pies by Cutie Pies + more! Local business, Purple Twig, also had a table where you can make octopus kites! I sold Leanna Lin Jewelry + created beaded bracelets with the kiddos! Check out the photos below *-*

Eagle Rock Music Festival

Last Saturday, Oct. 2nd, was the 12th annual Eagle Rock Music Festival! Put on by The Center For The Arts, I was excited to see the whole community get together for this big event. I got to sneak away from the shop for a few hours to see what was happening! Streets were filled with happy people *-*
