I met the witty mother & daughter team, Courtney & Carol of Bored Inc., last November at my 1st Designer Con event. We had our booths next to each other & the rest is history! Courtney asked her friends, Jason & Patty of Fat Rabbit Farm, to join her in the show called Friends Forever *-* There are original 1 of a kind hand applique + stuffed pieces, limited edition giclee prints, etchings + more! There's also an art piece that Bored Inc. + Fat Rabbit Farm created together! Check out the art gallery + pop-up shop through June 5th at my shop!

DREAMING of Spring ...

I love the change of seasons, my favorite being Spring! Crisp air, blue skies, flowers in bloom + longer days. Last saturday, for 2nd Saturdays NELAart gallery night, we had the opening event for Stacey Winters, appropriately called Dreams Of Spring, at my shop Leanna Lin's Wonderland!

A whimsical tale of spring through the creations of Stacey Winters. Paper wings, woodland creatures, tiny art, miniature photograph pendants, paper garlands and more. Stacey is a San Diego based photographer and artist. Her work is bright and fanciful with vintage charm.

DJ EV-1 was spinning tunes as we were transported into spring on this chilly evening, eating flower cookie pops by Maile's Fine Pastries + cozy gourmet ramen from Rokyo truck!

Join us for our 1st annual Valentine's themed pop-up art opening event! Inspired by favorite fairy tale characters with a Harajuku twist, Liane Shih of Mekanikku will be creating paintings, plush dolls, hand painted dolls (as seen in Stuffed magazine) + life size doll tea party installation in the middle of Wonderland! Mekanikku will be doing kokeshi collaborations with Melody Hansen and jewelry with Me *-* (Leanna Lin Jewelry)!

TigerBunny Opening Event

When I first thought of the concept for Leanna Lin's Wonderland, Axel Honey popped in my head! I met the sweet artist and jewelry designer, Melissa Contreras, back in 2005 and the rest is history! Last Saturday night was the first NELA art walk for 2011. So I was so excited to start off the year with happy looking art like Axel Honey's. The theme *TigerBunny* was created by Melissa Contreras, celebrating the transition of the Tiger to the Rabbit (Chinese zodiac signs). Along with Axel Honey's paintings and globes, Melissa brought her jewelry, cooshees + more for a pop-up shop! She also has a bunch of talented friends that collaborations with Axel Honey: Crowed Teeth, Cermae, Nadfly, Lady Gee, Lady Reine and Sweet Siren Designs! This was also my first ever event styled by Wilmarose of Lovely Jubilee. We dressed up as tigers and bunnies, got our faces painted by Gilma, grooved to DJ EV-1 and ate treats from these yummy delights: Fresh Fries, Lake Street Creamery and Maile's Fine Pastries *-*

my 1st Holiday Event

Last Saturday, 12/11, I had my first Holiday Jewel Box event! It was a trunk show for local jewelry designers: Meli Jewelry by Ashley Gall, ODD Jewelry by Oskar de la Cruz, Thursday Brown by Sharon Sancer + my own line, Leanna Lin Jewelry!

We grooved to DJ EV-1, while eating Don Chow Tacos + Maile's Fine Pastries! Topping off the evening was a special performance by Love In The Circus!
